BENOA is an attractive, modern basket woven from high-quality bamboo by experienced artisans. Finished at the rim with seagrass and equipped with jute handles, it combines sturdy construction with natural textures. The bamboo has been lightly whitewashed for a gently aged look that enhances its decorative appeal; a black variant is also available.

Materials & Origin
Main material: Bamboo. Bamboo is an extremely fast-renewing raw material; the bamboo used here is harvested near the processing facility to minimise transport. Other materials: Seagrass and Jute. The baskets retain a natural scent and tactile quality typical of plant fibres.

Production & Ethical Information
Handmade in Java, Indonesia. We select local producers who provide fair pay and safe working conditions; only adult, experienced artisans work on our products. No harmful chemicals are used in manufacturing. Because each step is performed by hand, the production generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We maintain these standards through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with our partners.
