Harvesting and sun-drying of stems (typically three to seven days) allow the fibers to be prepared for weaving. This abundant raw material is transformed by skilled artisans into durable woven goods.Production site & ethical standards:Made in Java, Indonesia. We select production partners that ensure fair wages and good working conditions. All manufacturing steps are carried out by hand without harmful chemicals, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions associated with industrial processes. We maintain ongoing on-site visits and continuous contact with our suppliers to ensure ethical production standards.Care instructions:Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heavy moisture to preserve color and shape.
