Quality, craft and sustainability
The term “seagrass” used by basket makers refers to a palm-like coastal plant commonly cultivated on tropical Asian beaches. Leaves are harvested, separated, cut into strips, dried and then handwoven by skilled artisans. Each RIMBA mirror is 100% handmade and fair trade; small variations in size, color and shape are to be expected and are a natural result of the artisanal production process and the organic material.

Care & handling
As a natural-fiber product, avoid prolonged exposure to direct moisture. Clean the mirror glass with a soft, lint-free cloth and a gentle glass cleaner applied to the cloth, not directly to the frame. Dust the seagrass frame with a soft brush or dry cloth. Because the mirror is handmade, handle with care when hanging and use appropriate wall fixings for the mirror’s weight.
