A long, low bench made to earn its place in an entrance hall: somewhere to sit and pull on shoes, with a concealed compartment underneath to keep them out of sight. The cream upholstery is calm and easy to live with, the high-density foam genuinely comfortable rather than decorative.

Underneath the soft top it's properly built โ€” a frame of oak, birch and plywood rather than flat-pack board โ€” so it holds up to daily use in the busiest part of the house. At 170 cm it's generous enough to double as bedroom-end or hallway seating.
