Description: The round KUTUS basket is an attractive and functional storage solution for toys, magazines, firewood, laundry or as a decorative plant holder. Its compact form fits most shelves and corners, while the natural color contrast between reddish-brown banana fibre and beige seagrass gives it a warm, organic look that complements many interior styles.

Materials & Craftsmanship: The basket is woven from plant fibers that retain a natural scent and texture. Seagrass, as used by basket makers, is a palm-like coastal plant whose dried leaves are cut into strips and handwoven. Banana fibre is sourced from the layered trunks of cultivated banana trees; the deep brown tone develops naturally after sun-drying. Strips are rolled into characteristic strands roughly 6 mm thick. Only older, dying banana trees are used for this material, giving the plant a second life as a sturdy, dimensionally stable raw material. Nylon thread is used minimally to reinforce structure where needed.
