A horse and foal modelled together as a single group, finished in patinated gold so the raised surfaces shine and the recesses stay dark. The patina keeps it from reading as bright new metal.
The pairing gives the piece a narrative that a single figure does not — it suits a shelf or console where people will look at it closely.
Patinated gold finish.
