The Tikal Marble Top Chest is a compact, refined storage piece for bedrooms, dressing areas and hallways where a larger piece would overwhelm the wall. It pairs toasted chestnut ash with a light beige travertine top to deliver warm timber grain and a softly textured stone surface, combining tactile craftsmanship with a narrow footprint and an elevated visual stance.

The chest’s slatted drawer fronts introduce texture and movement: vertical fluting is cut into the timber so the face reads as a rhythm of light and shadow rather than a flat panel, and because the detail is cut rather than printed the effect holds under varying light. Each drawer is fitted with a circular wooden handle recessed into the centre of the front, a detail that maintains material continuity and a restrained profile. The toasted chestnut ash provides warmth and a clear, straight grain that complements the travertine’s pale, naturally pitted matte surface. Rounded edges on the travertine top and a slightly recessed plinth create softened lines and an airy stance so the chest reads tall without feeling heavy.
