KENARI’s open weave casts soothing, warm patterns across walls and surfaces, creating a cozy atmosphere in living rooms, bedrooms or dining areas. Rattan is formed by heating the stems and fixed to an internal metal frame that ensures long-lasting stability without compromising the lightweight, airy look.

Please note: the pendant is delivered without an electrical cable and without a lightbulb. You can fit the lamp with a cable of your preferred length and color available from any hardware store. Ensure installation follows local electrical regulations or consult a qualified electrician.

Materials & sustainability

Main material: rattan. Our lampshades are woven from plant fibers and retain a natural scent and tactile quality. Rattan palms often grow prolifically in dense forests and can behave invasively, competing with other vegetation. Harvested stems regrow quickly and are cut regularly without chemical treatments. After drying, these stems become durable raw material for furniture and woven goods. This regenerative growth and low processing demand make rattan an abundant and highly sustainable resource.
