Materials and sustainability:

Primary material: rattan — a rapidly renewable resource harvested from climbing rattan palms in Indonesian tropical forests. Branches are cut by hand without damaging surrounding trees and dried for use. The inside of the branches provides sturdy material for frames, while bark strips are used for fine wickerwork. Rattan cultivation supports forest preservation by encouraging local communities to maintain healthy ecosystems.

Other materials: jute handles. All materials are natural and selected for durability and low environmental impact.
