Materials & sustainability
Our stools are made from rattan plant fibers, giving them a natural scent and tactile warmth. Rattan palms frequently grow abundantly in dense forests and are often considered invasive; harvesting the fast-regenerating stems requires no chemical treatment. After drying, these stems become a renewable material for furniture and baskets, making rattan an especially sustainable choice.
