The Sky cushion cover is finished with a hotel-style closure on the back and is available in two sizes. Its unprocessed cotton fibers give the cover a natural scent and a soft, authentic handfeel. The fabric is breathable, skin-friendly, and highly absorbent, making it comfortable for everyday use.

Material origin and craftsmanship

We use cotton sourced from local farmers on Java. The cotton fields are naturally fertilized and the cotton bolls are handpicked. After harvesting, the cotton is separated from the bolls using a de-seeding machine. The resulting cotton is pressed into bales, combed, and spun by hand into yarn. Skilled artisans then weave the yarn on traditional wooden looms. All production steps are performed by hand.

Care instructions

Our cotton is not chemically processed. Because of this, the fabric is not suitable for tumble drying. Products should be ironed at low temperatures. For full guidance on caring for our items made from these special materials, please consult our care instructions page.

Ethics and production

This cushion cover is handmade in Java, Indonesia. When selecting local producers we prioritize fair pay and good working conditions. Only adult, experienced artisans work in the workshops from which we source our products. The manufacturing process avoids any harmful chemicals entirely. Because all stages of production are carried out by hand, the process produces very low greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure these standards through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with our production partners.
